Happy Monday! More pages from the mini!

Well how are you doing today?  I keep adding followers slowly...when I get to 25 I will be doing a give away of some sort!  Just an update....if you were one of the few people following me when I started up this blog...you will remember I was struggling with a vine type of embellishment that I wanted to make for a page idea I had in mind.  I was going for kind of a Tim Burton kind of feel if you know who Tim Burton is.  He did the movies the Nightmare Before Christmas.  So, something kind of like you might see in a Halloween Layout, but my layout is not going to be a Halloween theme.  Ok...I'm rambling, but I actually worked on the vine Saturday night and made some progress for getting it to look more like what I had in mind.  So, when I complete that and the scrapbook page I will share it with you.

Now, as promised I wanted to share more from my mini album that I made for my friend Kelly.  Just a reminder, the subject of the book was her dog Molly.  I did not add any photos because I had limited photos of Molly.  I knew that Kelly would have more, but here's the next page.  I already shared the front cover in case you missed it...you can see it HERE.

Here's the next page and the tags

The lace on the bottom was white and I misted it using Smooch Spritz.  It was the black spray, but it turned the lace more of a gray...but I liked the effect.  The frame was a K&Company frame that I painted to match.  It was pink, but it was the wrong shade.  I wrapped Recollections sequin trim around the fame and secured with brads.  Pink bling at the top is also Recollections.  The tag...I have no idea where I got that tag.  There's also another behind it, but it's just from the paper collection.  The paper collection is Diva I believe by Glitz Design.  I used the large eyelets from the sewing section because I used the larger binding rings.  Those don't fit in the extra large eyelets.  So, I had to find something else.  These worked fine.

These are the tags for the page above and the next page.  The squares I used for the tabs are tile like stickers from Amanda Blu.  They are very glittery and fit this album very well.  The tags on the left are for the next page.  They have Prima pink flowers and Recollections bling for the centers.

This page has a chipboard M that I purchased from Hobby Lobby.  I painted it with Metallic Folk Art Paint, then covered with distress Crackle in Rock Candy.  Not sure the exact color name for the Folk Art, but it's Pink of some shade.  I added ribbon along the bottom and heat emobssed the paw print.  The tags tuck behind the M.  The little dog on the lower right of the M is from the American Girl Crafts Dog Punch.

Thanks for looking...I will share the rest of the book later!
